A fun painting, inspired by the beautiful colors of Fiestaware, WV-made pottery. The background in this piece has an impasto texture, it’s very bumpy. Alternating directions, similar to basket weave. I created a glaze to paint the tea effect, over a dried under painting. I enjoyed using varying techniques to paint this smaller piece.
8×8 original oil painting on premium, 1.5” gallery wrap canvas. This painting will arrive framed in a sleek black floater frame.
