PLEASE READ: THIS PAINTING WILL BE ON DISPLAY AT THE WEBER ART GALLERY IN PIKEVILLE, KENTUCKY UNTIL NOVEMBER 27, 2026. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN PURCHASING, DELIVERY WILL BE COMPLETED AFTER THE EXHIBITION HAS ENDED IN EARLY DECEMBER.
I was playing with color and texture whenever I created this one. The blue dish is inspired by a pottery dish that I made while taking classes in Teays Valley, WV. I thought the varying tomatoes would be a fantastic subject to paint against the blue.
The bold colors in this piece command attention from across the room, while still maintaining a traditional feel. This painting could easily fit into transitional style homes or businesses. From modern spaces, to traditional, farmhouse or mid century modern, this painting could work anywhere.
20×20 original oil painting. Painted on a premium, 1.5” deep, gallery wrap canvas, varnished with archival Gamvar varnish. The painting will arrive ready to hang, in a solid wood floater frame.
